Anna is Assistant Headteacher at Charlton School (Learning Climate) with responsibilities within Behaviour for Learning, Teaching and Learning, Emotional Health and Wellbeing and Transition. Her subject specialism is Drama although she also has experience of leading Music, Art and Dance at KS3 and KS4. She is a Lead Practitioner and has recently focussed her work on improving quality first teaching through the development of a school wide coaching programme which was recognised by the Chartered College as an area of exceptional practice.
She has lead on the local #WomenEd and ‘Women Leading in Education’ DFE initiatives, creating networks to nurture leadership talent across secondary and primary phases in Telford. Anna has also completed the NPQSL accreditation with the future leaders trust with a focus on improving engagement and active learning across the curriculum.
